How to be Guaranteed you have Awesome Senior Portraits

Thanks for visiting my web site. The fact that you have come here in search of a photographer to create your Senior Portraits tells me you want something special for your Senior Portraits that you know you won't get from the school's assembly line method that you've endured for the last 11 years. Maybe you have friends that had their Senior Portraits created by us and have seen first hand how great they came out. Or maybe you just viewed some of your schoolmates on our Graduating Senior Gallery and are beginning to get excited about the possibilities.

In any case, you have come to the right place because we LOVE photographing seniors. They give us the opportunity to exercise the most creativity in their sessions than anything else we do, which makes if really fun for everyone!

First, we need to clear up some confusion, and there is

Good News and Bad News

Good News: You do have a choice of who you have create the Senior Portraits that you will be giving to all your friends and relatives.

Bad News: Unfortunately, Rim High has given exclusive rights to their contract photograher that only their photographs will be allowed in the yearbook, so you will have to endure their rushed, impersonal session to be in the year book.

Good News: You don’t have to purchase any of their ‘cookie cutter’ type pictures to give to family & friends because when you come to us, you’ll have plenty of really fantastic portraits you’ll be proud to give out!

1.  First, I’m going to help you look great, even if you’ve never had a portrait taken before that you liked  and even if, like most people, you are not comfortable in front of a camera.  I hear these concern all the time.  I love it, because these are the people who get the most excited when they see their portrait results!  I won’t bore you with all the professional training and the years of experience I’ve had that contribute to my photographic abilities.  All that matters to you is that I have the confidence to make the following Guarantee, which is...

I guarantee that you will LOVE (not just be “satisfied” with) your Senior portraits or I will either re-photograph you at no charge or refund all the money you paid for your session.  I make my living in this community as the premier full time, full service studio for the last 14 years so I can’t afford to have any unhappy clients saying anything negative about their experience working with me. 3. Personal Attention we give each Senior, Before, During and After the session.
  
Before with a consultation where I get to know you a little, find out what your interests and hobbies are, any sports or extra circular activities that are an important part of who you are right now, musical instruments you play, pets, etc. that we can incorporate to personalize your photographs.  You can bring in some outfits you’re thinking of wearing for your portraits and  I’ll tell you which I think will photograph best. This is very important because  the clothing you wear can make up to a 44 pound difference in how you look! It can either add 22 pounds or subtract 22 pounds for a total of 44 pounds difference in how you look in your portrait. So we'll make sure you are wearing the right "portrait clothing".

During the session where you have my undivided attention for 60-90 minutes to create a collection of special & unique images. The most frequent comment we get from seniors after a session is that they had fun and felt like a model, which is great because that's what helps you relax and have more natural expressions.  And that's why I won't need to tell you to "smile".

After when you place yor order with no sales pressure when we can go over any retouching needs, consider some artistic enhancements to a couple of your favorite poses to make that "Wow!" image (that will make your friends insanely jealous!).   

At this point you may be wondering if you can afford this level of personalized photography and service. You’ll be relieved to know we are surprisingly affordable.

Sessions Fees: Most Seniors prefer to be photographed outdoors in one of the many great locations we have up here in the mountains.  We have several places we use frequently or we can look at a special place you may have in mind.  Outdoor sessions are $89 for one location or $139 for two. (We closed our studio in Blue Jay the end of 2011 so the seldom requested studio portraits are no longer available)

We have five discounted Senior Portrait Packages starting at only $333 or you may create your own Ala Carte collection of exactly what you want. We have no minimum order and no sales pressure, either! We do have payment plans with no interest if you need to spread your payments out over several paychecks. We'll help you determine the most cost effective order options for your needs.

FAQ's

"How soon do I need to call to schedule my consultation or session?"

Usually we only need a 2-3 day advance scheduling for a consolation since this is only about a 20 minute meeting.  We will set the session time at this meeting based on both of our schedules, usually within the week.  Our busiest time is July – Sept.. so if you’re reading this in one of those months, call early for best availability of dates.

“How long after my session will we be able to see my photos?”

Usually within two to five days, depending on how busy we are that week.

“How long does it take to get my portraits once my order is placed?”

Typically orders are turned around in 5 -8 days, depending on the amount of retouching, special effects and stylized enhancements that have been requested
